Hard to believe that July is almost over.
I took the shot above and below in Grace Garden (downtown Durham,NC) this week.
The next shot is of my backyard crepe myrtle tree which I photographed one afternoon this week.
The last shot is one I photographed in the morning of my front yard crepe myrtle tree. The lighting makes the two trees look like their blossoms color is different but they are the same color. The difference is in the morning and afternoon light.
an abundance of beauty Carver! I do hope you'll join I Heart Macro this week, the link opens at 8pm/est this evening:-)
Thanks for sharing those beauties, Carver.
They do seem to be different colours!! I noticed the same thing with my Mom's rose of Sharon...
But they are both beautiful!!!
Gorgeous! Summer is magical.
Great photos Carver! Another lovely series of flowery delights, and thank you so much for being such a great supporter of Today's Flowers :) Wishing you a very happy weekend.
gorgeous summer flowers!
Thank you for your participation.
Gorgeous flowers! Great photos!
Looks as if you have a very beautiful garden !
Love crepe myrtle trees although I never see them. Was so in awe when we traveled up the east coast a few years ago.
Oh lovely as always Carver!
The myrtle tree looks quite the joy and beauty in your backyard.
My new goal is to get to those places you photograph! You inspire me.
