Weekend Snapshot: Number 62

The hardest part this weekend is narrowing down my choices for weekend snapshot. I took a ton of photographs at home and also at the lake near my home.
In the first shot I am standing under my dogwood tree and you can see a portion of its canopy. I'm facing my next door neighbor's dogwood tree.
The second shot was taken from my side door in the late afternoon and the moon is already out and shining.
The third shot was taken from my back deck where orange prevails in the sky.
It rained Friday night and Saturday it was still cloudy but that made the lake even more beautiful.I couldn't stop snapping photographs at the lake and am having trouble deciding which ones I like best. The ducks seemed to be even more colorful as they swam surrounded by leaves.
I am beginning to see signs that fall won't last forever as some of the trees are losing their leaves.

Oh my these photographs are all so wonderful. I can see why you had a hard time choosing what to post. I love the perspective of the first shot with the branch of your dogwood in the foreground. The reflections on the lake are beautiful. Have a great week Carver...

What beautiful color and trees and lake and the ducks!

I love autumn, for some reason ...the light and color tones.

I'm the same, get into taking the pictures and it sort of keeps going...with a camera in the hands, time has a propensity to fly...
You have a beautiful backyard Carver, and an incredible week for America.

Oh my these are all so fabulous!! Your area looks much like ours does right now.

We just don't have quite as much color. But your pond shot looks just like our pond.

Great shots. I apologize for getting in so late but our weather is terrible and I keep losing my connection.

Fabulous shots every single one!!:-)

Just love those clear crisp colors of the fall, you have really captured them well.

We were back east this weekend, and had fun taking pictures of the fall weather.
