Today's Flowers: Out and about

I was recently at a park and noticed the flowers growing in the pots and hanging baskets around the community center.

There isn't much in bloom at my house so I'm photographing flowers when I'm out and about.

The next shot was taken at a small corner shopping area where the planters were full of blooms.

The last shot is of berries not flowers but when I first spotted them in the woods I thought they were flowers. Note - I just saw on another blog that the plant below is Euonymus americanus (strawberry bush or bursting hearts is the common name).

Flowers in pots are still doing well here too, which is amazing for mid October. I'm intrigued by the last photo! I wonder what it is!

Lovely shots Carver!
I too wonder about that photo. I wonder if the fruit is edible.

Love the pots with the white background. The last shot is as pretty as a flower. ;)

the planters with blooms make this scene beautiful. the berry clinging to a vine/branch is interesting.

Super flowers. I don't have any blooming in my garden either, and often look elsewhere. So happy you shared these beauties with us today, thank you.

Daisy and angel wing begonias are pretty. also love the beautiful planters filled with flowers. The pink seedpod with the orange seeds is the most unusual. Do they call somebody to come and eat them? Nature is amazing!
