Jack Frost is replacing flowers in my neck of the woods so I went back to yester-months.
The shot above was taken in early October of a vacant lot in Durham, NC, U.S. The white covering are wildflowers which put down seeds for next year unless the lot is built on. The shot below was taken at Durham's Central Park, also early October.

I like the composition of taking photos from below the flowers!

Beutiful shots with gorgeous autumn colors!
I am dreaming of a white Christmas? Or do I dream about the wonderful flower garden next summer?
Very beautyful flowers!!
It's wonderful to see what splendor nature has to offer. The fall colors always beautiful. I'm missing the color as we got snow yesterday.

Here's my share for Today's Flower.
Beautiful post dear Carver, it's a dream because here it's hard to find colours and flowers in weeks! I mean because the terrible weather in November and it keeps raining in December!
I miss some light!
Did Jack just now arrive in your neighbourhood? I guess he's moving southward.
I see a few colors ..... LOL
Fall colors are always special !!
Enjoyable photos Carver. We had snow here this weekend and flower season has gone to sleep until next spring. Thanks for sharing and have a great week.
Both are lovely views ... the second is my favorite today.
Hugs and blessings,
Your flowers and colors are beautiful. You take me back several weeks, and it feels warm and smells great!
Good to sometimes dig into that reservoir of photos, and show frames of flowers on a season that is harsh to plants and blooms. Pretty frames though.
I like all the picture on your blog. They looks cool :) Enjoyed your blog very much.
Beautiful! Let's hope no one dares to build on that lot! Nice post!
