Today's Flowers and Weekend Snapshot - Memory of my Mother

My mother was born on June 14 in 1924 (died in 1990) and since today is her birthday, I thought I'd begin with her favorite flowers which were yellow roses.
I also think she'd like my multicolored roses with the yellow centers which are in bloom.
If she were still alive for me to pick her a bouquet, I'd also pick some of the blackeyed susan which are blooming in my garden, like the one below.

My mother loved flowers, too. She was born in September 1924 (died 1998). She used to take me around and point out the gardens she loved.

She would enjoy all your choices.

She's a lady I'm sure remembered fondly by lots including you.
These flowers are as beautiful as her memories of her you've got I'm sure.

I did my Today's Flowers for my mom last week on her birthday as well :)
I guess we've all somehow associate our mothers with lovely flowers.

You're a sweet daughter, Carver. I'm sure your mom would have loved your beautiful flowers. I do, as I'm sure all of us who come to your site enjoy viewing your visual delights every week.

My mother's birthday is June 15th, (today as I write this) and she's a big fan of flowers. She loves Black-eyed Susan and walks by a neighbor's garden to admire them. I'm showing her your site so she will enjoy your pictures too. Thank you very much for sharing with us the beauty around you.

A nice tribute to your mother's favourite colour and to her too.

Yellow roses don't seem to be so popular or easy to get or something.

Hi Carver,
Love the roses! Also, I thought that was a clever take on the "lock" theme for Photohunters! I would've thought of a door lock, probably!

My favorite yellow rose -- but for favorite flower, it just changes with every bloomin' season.

My mom passed away in 1993. I think of her when ever I see Iris. She loved any color of them. Oh ... and I have her Christmas cactus. When it blooms I think of her, too.
