Photohunt: Candy

The photohunt theme this week is candy. First I bring you peace candy.
Next, I bring you a piece of candy:
I debated doing my photohunt post on my new photo only blog, but I decided against it since I enjoy playing with the themes with words as well as pictures. My goal with my other blog is to be totally quiet so for now I'll keep my photohunt posts here like I've always done. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

One of my favorites that I really can't have for a couple of reasons. I am glad you kept your photohunt here, as the words are the best part of this post.

What is a peace candy? I mean, does it have any particular meaning?

Bengbeng said...

ah.. peace candy :) creative.. at first i thought it was the symbol for mercedez

They're both beautiful shots because they're so `different'.

Lovely work. Really like the peace candy ....

Thanks to everyone for visiting my photohunt post. To answer questions which have cropped up, the candy is butterscotch and the candy dish had dividers which made the peace symbol the way I shot it looking down. It really didn't occur to me until I looked at it to take the picture that the divider ended up making it look like the peace symbol I grew up on. I was born in 1957 so think junior hippie, that was me, too young to be the real thing but the symbols took, ha. I even wore a jacket with peace symbols embroidered on it to high school. Yep, I was one of those, still am in some regards.

Beautiful shots - and I love the peace candy idea! (though there's a line missing for "real" peace - but that's like in real life, right?) Sorry for being a spoilsport, I just had to spit it out... that's me, hope you'll forgive me! :(

Wish you a happy weekend Carver!

Karuema said...

looks tasty:)

Carver said...

Thanks to everyone for visiting my butterscotch candy post. I have to say that until Sabine mentioned that my peace sign was missing a line, I totally missed that. I think my mind mentally added it.
