Photohunters: Awesome Yellow

Yellow is an awesome color in nature.
The shot above of my awesome yellow coriopsis was taken in May of 2008. Unfortunately after decades of coriopsis, most was lost to the 2008 drought.
The streak of yellow near the top of the sunset shot above, from May 2010, looks awesome to me.
The awesome yellow leaves shine through the gold in the late October, 2010 shot above.
The goldfinch and the rudbeckia (black-eyed susan) above are an awesome yellow. That is a late July of 2010 shot.
The awesome yellow sunset above is from April 2010.
The awesome yellow daffodil above was taken in March of 2011.
The shot above was taken on a mountain trail in October 2011 and there is some awesome yellow mixed in with the gold and red leaves.
The mixed tulips were shot in March of 2011 at a doctor's office building and include awesome yellow. The sunset below was taken in February 2009 and yes it has some awesome yellow.
The yellow rose below was taken in my garden in early October of 2008 and sadly my yellow roses didn't bloom last summer.
The last awesome yellow shot was taken at a trail near my house in November of 2011.

Wow Carver, these are some truly awesome photos! I saw my first yellow goldfinch this week (I saw them in the winter but they weren't bright yellow yet). Nature does yellow right, for sure!

Lots of awesome pics there, Carver. I particularly like the sunset pic with the yellow in the top right hand corner and the one of the yellow gold leaves. :)

my mind must work in strange ways...selfish me saw the coreopsis and thought of the 'moonbeam' variety we grew in a garden somewhere in some place that we lived; I was sad that now we have no true yard for a garden. then I thought MOONBEAMS are so cool and then of this Irish blessing for you, Darling Carver, at Easter:
"May God grant you always...
A sunbeam to warm you, a moonbeam to charm you, a sheltering Angel so nothing can harm you.
Laughter to cheer you. Faithful friends near you.
And whenever you pray, Heaven to hear you.”
~selfish me kinda sucks, but maybe there's hope for a wayward thinking brain.
