Today's Flowers: Wildflowers along the greenway trail

Saturday morning I went on a walk along part of my town's greenway trail system.

I made a point of photographing the wildflowers which were in bloom.

It's always nice to see flowers doing well after a hot summer. The trick this year as I've mentioned before is that we've had a fair amount of rain which has kept everything going.

The rain has helped me too although I could do without the heat and humidity. Still being able to see plants flourishing makes me feel so much better than if everything had died in the heat.

Fortunately it has cooled off considerable and I hope this will be the end of summer heat.

It is nice to see flowers in what some would consider to be weeds. The morning glory flower is beautiful but I am not so happy to see their vines invading my gardens. Your other flowers as well are very nice. And everything is so green!!

Carver you always have so many different flowers to show us and so many wonderful places for finding them. :)
I can never remember the name of that yellow flower but I've noticed it has begun blooming here in the past week and a half.

Thanks for visiting my Guest Friend post this week. :)
