Weekend Snapshot Number 49 and the Dragon Challenge

I am combing this week's weekend snapshot with Melli's Dragon Hunt challenge. Melli challenged bloggers to see how many dragons they could find this week in honor of her first 1000 post anniversary. I love dragons but I wasn't sure if I could find them lurking around my house. I decided to spend a little time on Saturday hunting for them. Lo and behold I had dragons lurking all over the place.I was struck by this dragon on my Chinese rice bowls. He has a lot of character. There is not one but two dueling dragons on these bowls.
I have many other dragons lurking around my house but I'll save them for later this week. I was startled when looking for dragons under my beds to encounter a crocodile.
My daughter painted this when she was seven in 1992 and it was selected to be on the wall in the hallway at her elementary school. I really love this painting and now that it's out from under the bed, I think I'll hang it on my wall again. I used to have him up on a wall where I had a collection of my daughter's art while she was growing up. I think he deserves to be permanently hung.
While searching for dragons, I also encountered this dinosaur my daughter made in pre-kindergarten, if my memory serves. I think he has a lot of character.

To find other Dragons you can visit Melli and for other weekend snapshots you can go to technorati or on Monday the WS posts are at the home of Weekend Snapshot.

Ohhhh my GOSH!!! I love ALL of these dragons!!! ESPECIALLY the two done by your daughter! The painted one more resembles an alligator - but I'm SURE it IS a dragon! And that little pinch clay dragon is just ADORABLE!!! Well DONE Carver!!! I hope you have MORE!
