Photohunt: Small

The photohunt theme this week is small. This time of year is perfect for the small theme, for me. I have all sorts of miniatures that come out of the attic for my Christmas scenes. First I have the ice skaters. The skaters are so small that in order to see them better, I have to do a closeup.

Below is a shot with them turned on. They skate around the rink to music. You can even select the type of music you want: old time tunes, Christmas carols, etc.

Another group of miniatures that I have, which are small, are nativity figures.

To get a sense of their scale, below is a picture of them with their larger counterparts. The small figures are barely visible on the right.
Believe it or not, in a time long ago when I was small, I was an angel. Since it was so momentous for me to look angelic, a picture of me as a small angel was turned into a Christmas ornament.Last but not least, the picture below is of my 22 year old daughter back when she was small. I'm on the left in a flannel shirt, my daughter is poised against me and my friend Peggy is on the right.
That's it for my small post. To learn more about photohunters and to find other particpants go to Photohunters are also on Technorati -

Thanks so much to everyone for visiting. I am enjoying the small hunt. Someone asked if my friend who was in the picture with my daughter when she was about a week or two old was the one I blogged about recently when we took a trip down memory lane and yes, that was her. Also, I don't think I mentioned how young my daughter was. The reason she's so small is she was practically a newborn. She was actually a big baby but the way she's propped against me makes her look extra small. Looking at it now, I'm thinking, gosh was her head supported but I think it was.I was actually pretty careful until she was at least three weeks old (just kidding). Happy hunting.

The ice skaters were very cool, it is neat that they actually skate.

The picture of the minature navity next to the real size gave good scale, and they really did look tiny.

And you save the best for last, very cute snuggly small baby girl.

have a good weekend
