Today's Flowers: Berries

Friday was unusually warm and I went for a walk at the NC Art Museum Park. I knew the cold weather was returning soon which motivated me to take advantage of a little warmth.

We had very cold weather prior to some warmth moving in so the flowers are pretty much all gone.

I thought these berries looked a lot like little red flowers so I'm using them for Today's Flowers this week.

Awesome shots of the berries, I like the last one particularly because of the birds beyond but love all of them really. Thanks for sharing Carver and have a great weekend :)

What a great wealth of berries so vibrantly red. I do hope they are a food source for birds later in the season

That looks like a gorgeous place. The idea of warmth "moving in" is very appealing.

That looks so inviting...Right now I'm reading blogs all wrapped up because I'm not feeling well. I'm taking in your warm photos.

They look similar to the hawthorn berries I see around this time of year, but those trees look quite short. I like the view by the lake.
