I know this is a stretch but to an extent skywriting is handwritten. The pilots hands control the jets and when the jets intersect they form "handwritten" letters across the sky.
The first two shots have a "handwritten" X made by the jets and the last shot has an X and a V.

These are a cool take on the theme :) As the daughter of a pilot I like it! :)
My entry is a slight stretch too. Happy photo hunting, and happy weekend!
Love your take on the theme, I see those letters very clearly!
Handwritten

Love your stretch of the theme. I see the letters clearly too and also love those Carolina Blue skies!
A creative take on the theme, Carver -- and I have to say that sure do like the look of that gorgeous blue sky! :)
It certainly does qualify for "handwritten". Hoped you enjoyed your Thanksgiving.
Cool take on this week's theme.
have a super weekend.
That's so cool! I watched a jet 'drew' a heart in the sky in one movie. Can't remember which one though.
I love your blog header. Did you take the picture?
Very interesting take on the theme this time Carver.. your photos are great!
I like it!
Interesting take on the theme and beautiful shots. Mine was even more of a stretch today. I'm on my second or alternate blog at http://hambook.blogspot.com/2011/11/photo-hunt-special-offer-together.html.
I also like observing the jet trails... Makes me think of travelling to distant and interesting places!
God bless you!

Amazing stuff. I am sure this is quite tough & dangerous to "write" in the sky !
An incredibly different take on the theme. Very creative.
