Dona Nobis Pacem

It may be long before the law of love will be recognized in international affairs. The machineries of government stand between and hide the hearts of one people from those of another. Mahatma Ghandi

A couple years ago I got together with 4 friends for lunch once a month- and we were each in charge of a topic- One of our topics near
Christmas time was, if you could have anything for Christmas what would you want and which of Santas (nude) elves would you want to bring it. I thought and thought of what I wanted- and I decided on world peace- I told my friends, I know it may sound corny, but I don't really need anything- and it would be great if we could all just get along. My one friend gave me a pillow that year with the words peace on it- I keep it on my couch.
Not knowing it was globe day, I posted about thankfullness to our men in uniform- I am proud of them, but would love to live in a world of peace.
Peace to you Carver!

Thanks again to all of you for visiting. As ever, Carver

Hi Theresa, I love your story and I had to laugh at the image of Santa's nude elves. I know I don't have the answers and by the way I married a man who served in the Navy for 4 years (1968 to 1972). As ever, Carver
