I have posted a lot of cloud shots lately and ordinarily wouldn't post more this soon. However, since I almost lost my head on Saturday photographing the clouds, I'm going with them.
I was going to the store to take advantage of no sales tax weekend in NC when I noticed some wondrous clouds. My car windows and windshield were dirty so when I stopped at a long red light, I rolled down my window and stuck my head out to photograph the clouds.
I didn't plan for the fact that a car would come speeding up in the left turn lane and come so close to me as it whizzed past that I felt like my hair touched the car. I have decided that it's not worth the risk of having my head taken off by speeding cars to get my shot. Particularly since the first shot was taken after I parked my car and the second shot where I risked my head wasn't even as dramatic. The shot below was taken Saturday evening facing my next door neighbor's weather vane.

you might of heard that California just passed a "hand free" law pertaining just to cell phones- guess NC might need a "hand free" law for cameras- glad your ok.
