The photohunt theme this week is dark. I shot the photograph below on April 17, 2008 at 8:17 pm. It was a dark night but the moon lit the way.

Oooo... I can see the bright and shining moon! I'm not good at taking night photos, probably because I have a silly digital camera. The images usually don't show or they are blurred, ish.

I always find the moon so comforting on a dark night. And to capture it peaking through the branches of a tree...
I guess it is peace of knowing that some things are constant.

FABULOUS Carver!!! I gotta tell ya - until I read your description, I was not seein' a MOON! ROFL! I thought it was taken from inside a cave looking out toward the opening! I guess it never occurred to me that that opening was MIGHTY round! LOL! It's a beautiful moon shot though!
