Day Three of Photographic Reflections
I took this shot of the great blue heron yesterday (Monday) morning when I went on a walk. I wish the photographic quality was better but I like the way those long legs look even longer because of the reflection. To find other photographic reflections or to join in the challenge, you can go to Quilly's site.

What a wondeful reflection!
I've seen so many blue herons in blog world - I'm going to find one someday.
a heron? wow, great catch!
we have grey herons here but they always fly away before i can shoot them (with the camera, of course)
Carver, I really like this shot. That Heron has a great reflection. The Great Blue Herons come here to nest each year. It's amazing, even with silly people building all around the nesting grounds they are still showing up each year. I hope they continue.
I have fallen behind on my visits, and see I've missed your previous Reflections. They are FABULOUS!!! I've very impressed!! Keep up the great work.

You just taught me a new word, I saw one in London, but I didn't know what you call them! It looks like he posed for you!
Love reflection shots- and great heron- yes great legs!
Nice shot of the great blue heron, Carver! Very cool"!
Only place I can view species like those are at the local bird park. You're real lucky Carver spotting these on your walks :)
That's a beautiful picture and to shoot it in nature and not in a zoo like I had to do is wonderful !
You have such an eye for nature's beauty.
Thanks so much to everyone for visiting. I appreciate it.
Carver,
I didn't see this one yesterday. It is very cool, too. :) I must have come by before you got it up or something.
I LOVE that! I WISH we had them living near here! The only time I've ever seen one live was down in Florida... That is just BEAUTIFUL!
