I was so pleased to begin to have enough fresh produce out of my garden to fill up a bowl that I did just that on Saturday and photographed it.
I also took some shots of my sunflowers. I spotted my first one around Tuesday and then the multi colored variety bloomed later in the week. Saturday I took the shots of each type in bloom.
The one above is a variety I've never grown before and I like it but I think the old standard one below will always be my favorite.
The next shot could be titled the hummingbird I missed. If I'd been 1/16th of a second faster, I would have caught a shot of a hummingbird that was feeding on the lantana.

Nothing beats producing your own greens :) I like lantanas, they're tiny and pretty little flowers :)
p/s: My hubs has been wide eye the entire week staring at me coloring! :P

Just beautiful studies, it is art. Photography is indeed art, and the great thing is how everyone sees the beauty and art in stuff some of us walk past a hundred times a day.
You must be sensory, your personality must function strongly on the sensory, (visual, hearing etc), and then you capture that so beautifully...
I would have walked right past those webs, I would have been chasing the light and tones and feeling of the woods. And yet we both create art, each our own art.
