Weekend Snapshot: Week that began with snow ended with springtime

UPDATE To this POST - I just got the call that my PET/CT didn't show anything of concern so I'm officially four years without a melanoma recurrence. Wooohooo!

Bill and I took advantage of a warm Saturday to walk around Shelley Lake. The first shot makes me laugh because it looks like the goose is walking up to join the couple on the dock.In the second shot you can see how most of the Canadian geese are in the water. I think the one on the dock probably joined them in the water, as more people walked onto the dock.
Saturday night the moon was begging to be photographed so photograph it I did. I want to thank my blogging buddies for the well wishes on my Thursday scan and appointment. Everything went well and the fact that they haven't called yet about the scan makes me certain that it was clear. Bad news generally travels fast and good news waits until it's convenient for them to call. So I'm assuming this means that I'm 4 years without a recurrence following my surgery for node positive melanoma.

4 years free! yeah!!
Some things are just camera hogs- loved that the moon was "begging" to be photographed. Great shot of the moon. Sounds like you had a nice walk.

Great pics of the sun and the goose!

I think that you've probably made the right conclusion about your scan results! I was pretty sure that that would be what you'd hear - can't wait to hear the confirmation!

The moon called my name last night at about 3 am when I got up to go in another direction but the moonlight was very strong in the living room... it was way too early to grab my camera! Great shot, Carver! and I love the goose joining the couple!
::thumbs up:: it's great news about your health but I hope they let you know for sure today so that we can celebrate :)

The goose isn't afraid of humans. He's probably used to visitors. lol
