It has rained all weekend long but not knowing what the summer will bring, I am grateful for the spring rains.
I took the first shot from under my umbrella in my back garden and the next two shots were taken through the windshield of my car.
It's such a mix of spring and winter. Many trees are still bare but there are also a ton of buds and flowers.
I'm relieved that some of my camelias are doing okay. Many got brown spots on the buds from our early March snow but I found a few perfect ones to photograph in my front garden.
I'm relieved that the temperatures are staying above freezing for now because of all the spring growth which has taken off. The redbuds in my back garden are already blooming.
One last shot from my back garden. My poor little daffodil bowed by the rain.

It rained here too. :)
You have wonderful shots of the raindrops.
I love raindrops. Love your shots!! the one through your windshield looks very artistic!
I love rain drop shots. The first and the last are my favorites. Your windshield is so clean! That is also a very cool shot. Great post :)
You are so far ahead of us! Your post fills me with hope that spring will come! I'm glad you got this much-needed rain.
Beautiful photos. It's amazing how the rain seems to bless the trees, flowers and plant with new lease in life and other times, the opposite.
It's been raining for a week in Singapore now. And it's heavy rain.
spring births new life. i love that it rains and everything is blooming. come visit my entry here http://kcelebration.blogspot.com/search/label/weekend%20snapshot
What a lovely garden. You're so lucky you got a beautiful sight to behold after the rain. We in Bangkok get a flood after a rain. Your pictures reminded me of beautiful things rain brings besides a flood (once my piano virtually floated in our living room).
Have a great week!
it is still winter here at our place.. not much sign of Spring, just our lilac starting to bud. rain is good, it awakens the flowers and plants around you. =) great shots Carver
LOVE the windshield shot .. the others are wonderful but I LOVE that one the most ...
Our snow is finally melting but it is good to see rain and flowers on your blog.
rain here too. I am going to miss it when summer rolls around. i love the rain. ok except what it does to the sinuses. I dont love that so much
even rain can make for nice photos. i love the ones through the windshield.
im sure the plants and the flowers are happy!
The white rose is lovely :)
It's the rainy season here too, 1 minute it's bright and sunny.Next, it's boom crash boom!! Thunderstorm.
Beautiful wet flowers!
i love the third and last shots!
I like your flower shot. We're also having some inconsistent weather here but it's so nice to know that summer here is coming.
That poor little daffodil. I want to get a popsickle stick and tie a splint on it! Ours are blooming too, but the poor things got sleet on them yesterday. Winter is a real bully here this year. Spring can barely show her head before getting knocked back again.
