Weekend Snapshot: Let it rain, let it rain, let it rain

It has rained all weekend long but not knowing what the summer will bring, I am grateful for the spring rains.
I took the first shot from under my umbrella in my back garden and the next two shots were taken through the windshield of my car.
It's such a mix of spring and winter. Many trees are still bare but there are also a ton of buds and flowers.
I'm relieved that some of my camelias are doing okay. Many got brown spots on the buds from our early March snow but I found a few perfect ones to photograph in my front garden.
I'm relieved that the temperatures are staying above freezing for now because of all the spring growth which has taken off. The redbuds in my back garden are already blooming.
One last shot from my back garden. My poor little daffodil bowed by the rain.

I love rain drop shots. The first and the last are my favorites. Your windshield is so clean! That is also a very cool shot. Great post :)

Beautiful photos. It's amazing how the rain seems to bless the trees, flowers and plant with new lease in life and other times, the opposite.

What a lovely garden. You're so lucky you got a beautiful sight to behold after the rain. We in Bangkok get a flood after a rain. Your pictures reminded me of beautiful things rain brings besides a flood (once my piano virtually floated in our living room).

Have a great week!

it is still winter here at our place.. not much sign of Spring, just our lilac starting to bud. rain is good, it awakens the flowers and plants around you. =) great shots Carver

I like your flower shot. We're also having some inconsistent weather here but it's so nice to know that summer here is coming.

That poor little daffodil. I want to get a popsickle stick and tie a splint on it! Ours are blooming too, but the poor things got sleet on them yesterday. Winter is a real bully here this year. Spring can barely show her head before getting knocked back again.
