Today's Flowers: November
My hydrangea blooms have been brown for some time now but I happened to notice one had a little color remaining.
The bittersweet berries that are out in the fall are like flowers to me, and the berries are much more showy than the flowers they have in the late spring.
Fall leaves themselves are autumn flowers to my mind and I enjoy them at least as much as flowers.

Yes it is still beautiful!
And I'm glad you joined Mimi's Peace Globe too!
I often enjoy my flowers way past their "prime". I take it these berries are ornamental, and not to eat? The one thing I miss living in the tropics is not seeing the maples turn... for me that was the best season when living in Ontario, Canada. Lovely photos, Carver.
Wonderful shots. The berries are inviting.
A beautiful display of fall Carver, lovely photos as always, so enjoyable!
Bonjour dear Carver,
A great selection for this theme.The last one has so wonderful colors!
hugs and a nice week ahead,

Gosto de suas fotos. Estas folhas avermelhada indicam a aproximação do inverno, enquanto aqui no Brasil esperamos um verão implacavemmente quente. Diferenças climáticas me encantam!
Lovely fall pictures!!
The other day I found this very nice poem.
Enjoy,
Gisela,
"When the trees their summer splendor
Change to raiment red and gold,
When the summer moon turns mellow,
And the nights are getting cold;
When the squirrels hide their acorns,
And the woodchucks disappear;
Then we know that it is autumn,
Loveliest season of the year."
- Carol L. Riser, Autumn
Beautifully captured! I love the berries shot!
Christmas Cactus, have a blessed Sunday!
Your fall colours are glorious. Your header a delight and the faded glory of the hydrangea, like a life well lived.
