Today's Flowers: Lunch break flower shooting
These shots are all ones I took this week during lunch breaks in downtown Durham, NC.
We are in the full fling of spring and more and more flowers are blooming everywhere.
I even spotted one or two roses blooming in the large planting of miniature roses below.
Tulips are blooming all over the place and I love their splash of color.
I like the way individual flowers stand out in plantings where there are more blooms to come later.
I think I'll stop with one last shot.

beautiful shots
Spring is such a lovely season especially when the first blooms appear. We always seem to appreciate the first flowers more than all the glory of all things bright and beautiful all together.
Were you going for a check-up? Please let me know. I think about you so often and wish you a beautiful life.
This is by far my favorite time of the year. I love seeing colorful flowers blooming. The tulips are beautiful! When I lived in Raleigh, it seemed like the entire city turned into one huge flower garden about this time of year. I miss seeing the azaleas.
It looks like you had some pleasurable lunchtime walks. The flowers are so pretty. I love the beds of different colors.
Interesting sculpture - looks a little like legs rising in the air and wrapping around each other. :)
Re: Your visit to mine.
Thank you for the validation! I called those trees Tulip Trees until someone rudely informed me they were NOT tulip trees, but Magnolia trees. Thanks again!
Delightful. Tulips and daffs, oh my! And that glorious sunshine over all.
What a pleasant place for lunch time strolls. The flowers are beautiful.
Wonderful pictures, one more beautiful than other!
I love the different colors, all flowers are very lovely!

Hiya,
After puzzling about it, I decided that the statue are a pair of rusted legs with the feet up and the knees level.
So there :-).
Where can I read about and learn from your melanoma issues. I have just been diagnosed and floundering a little.
