Today's Flowers - Spotted on walks
I thought I'd start with some wildflowers I spotted on a recent walk along a woodland trail.
There were a lot of different ones I tried to photograph but there wasn't very much light since the canopy from trees blocks out most of the light. Soon there were be more light when trees drop their leaves although days grow shorter as autumn approaches.
The last shot is of the scented roses at the NC Art Museum Park. I wish that I could put up a scratch and sniff strip on my blog post so you could smell their wonderful scent.

interesting perspective- delicate leaves sandy
I'd love the scratch and sniff too!
Scratch and sniff would suit this meme wonderfully. :)
Those little yellow flowers look delicate among those fern looking leaves.
Love the trees against that white 'canvas' in the last shot.
Have a great day Carver!
Yes! Imagine if we could all smell the flowers in our posts!
Scratch and sniff would be a lot of fun :) Your yellow flowers are very nice! Have a pleasant week ahead!
Lovely! You can see the fall light in the air. I also like your photo in your banner with the grasses at the beach. That is what I tried to replicate in my bedroom!
lovely yellows!
I like how they have grow the trees to block off the coldest of the white concrete block.
Gorgeous shots.
My entry is a Dahlia.
I vote for Scratch'n'Sniff, too! These are gorgeous little wildflowers. My TF post is here;; http://www.patandjerry.com/2010/09/labor-day-corn-roast-and-family.html
