Photohunters: Open

The photohunters theme this week is open. When I saw that I thought, this is a wide open theme, and I'm not joking.
Photobucket
The shot above is of an open door at the Duke Gardens Cafe in Durham, NC. The shot below is of an open window at the NCSU JC Raulston Arboretum Lathe house in Raleigh, NC.
Photobucket
The next shot was taken in the Art Park at the NC Museum of Art. The door is open on the "Cloud Chamber for the Trees and Sky" by Chris Drury.
Photobucket
The last shot was taken at the NC Botanical Garden at UNC in Chapel Hill, NC. The Ati (reproduction of an Occaneechi hut) below is always open.

For more photohunters, please visit the home of the hunt where participants post their links beginning on Saturday mornings.

Lots of open shots here, all great Carver. I wanted to find an open door or something like that but in the end stretched the theme somewhat.

Happy weekend to you.

*Snap* I also had the same notion of open-ness with regards to this week's Photo Hunt! Have a feeling it is going to be very interesting indeed seeing what people have decided to feature for this week's theme... ;b

Lovely Garden. Very beautiful indeed. Strangely, but somehow it reminded me of the story and movie of Alice in Wonderful. :-)

Hope you have a nice weekend.

I like your choices of 'open'..the hut looks interesting. Somehow I don't think that I ever would have enjoyed living in a hut. Of course what choice would I have had back in the day...Michelle

You know how to travel. I think if I went to these places I might find traveling more interesting. Lovely images of doors inviting us to enter!
