I am so glad to see my white camellia beginning to open for some full blossoms.
I was afraid that the camellias would have a lot of winter damage but so far the ones which have opened look good.
There are so many choices for flower shots this time of year because I am photographing each new flower as it opens.
I love the scents of spring as well as the colors and varying blooms.
This has been a great spring. Some years the flowers are too early and then get hit by color weather.
So far this year, spring has been unfolding on schedule and the temperatures have been pretty mild.
Early blooms don't mind chilly evenings as long as the temperatures don't get too extreme.
I'm glad that it looks like we'll be having a mild rest of March. By mid to late April we should be home free in terms of any cold blasts.
I am starting to get a little bit of energy so I can enjoy the March weather.
We're even getting a few days break from rain which gives everything a chance to soak up some sun.
Overall I'm glad it has been a pretty wet start to spring. The ground is soaked deep down so as it warms the roots have plenty of refreshment from water.
I think we are going to have some more rain soon which has given me incentive not to miss getting out on the days when the sun greets me.
So much to look forward to as well as to enjoy outside at the moment.
I guess I'll end here as this post is getting quite long.
Please visit the home of Today's Flowers to see what's blooming around the world.

Such glorious days to enjoy now! You have absolutely stunning photos here. Beautiful series of flowers to cheer up any gloomy moods left behind from MR. WINTER!
Lots of spring flowers in your life is a wonderful thing. Especially love the camellias.
beautiful! I have one in my garden too, but it's too early now for it.
Oh my ... such an abundance of colorful flowers! Spring has certainly sprung in YOUR part of the world! I'm still waiting for my daffodils to bloom ;-)
Hugs and blessings,
What a wonderful series of photos, Carver! I'm green with envy because my Camellias simply refuse to bloom - the buds never open. I love the white daffodils with the orange centers.
Beautiful flowers.
This white Camelia is the best.
Thank for sharing.
This is stunning series of photos. Spring is so early in your garden! I love your white camellia! I hope mine has survived in the green house, but I can see buds so far. I only have a red one and now when I see yours I understand that I have to try to find a white one too.
Got back home to rain! I want you to know how much I appreciate your wonderful shots, we are behind schedule, I am ready for Spring!!
I love your post. It really shows how much happens all at the same time so you don't know which way to point and shoot.
Beautiful magnolias, camellias daffodils....and all the rest.
Really enjoyed the flowers..thanks so much. It is good to see them after spending 3 months of the winter in NYC.
And thanks also for visiting mine too!
Your magnolia tree looks about a week behind mine. But the pink tinge to yours is gorgeous! Wonderful photos, all.
