I like reflection shots but sometimes it can be disorienting when an image is upside down. I think I prefer the second shot because there is a frame of reference with part of the photograph right side up, and part is a reflection. The first house which only shows the reflection is too upside down for me.

Saturday is when photohunters post on the host site. You can click here for the home of photohunters.

Great minds! I flipped some reflection photos too. You are right, something about that house looks very strange. But it's a cool looking photo.
Have a nice weekend.
Clever idea, Carver!! Love both shots in their own upside-down way :)
Happy PH and happy weekend!
I like the second shot too, I preferred reflections like that as well.

Oh I love it! I was looking for something like that too.
I like both shots, actually. Though I definitely see what you mean about how the first shot can be disorienting! :)
I guess a lot of us went with reflections. Yours are beautiful...
The house really looks upside-down nice take of the theme. Happy hunting.
It's nice for a change sometimes viewing the world upside down :)
Now why didn't I have shots like this in my archives I wonder.
They are very beautiful indeed Carver. Happy weekend to you

I think they're both stunning shots!
I decided on a reflection this week as well. Mine is a much more common reflection though.
nice reflections and I love colors. Really pretty!
I like the disorientation of the first shot.
Hard to believe they are reflections!
I played too :)
Same here, I like the reference to balance the photo. Gorgeous house!
Here's mine... kinda wordy today. I didn't want to go on a trapeze bar and I have no pics of mountains. :S

Have a great weekend!
I don't know. I sort of like the reflections without references. It makes you stop and do a double take. Both your pictures are very good, though. I think it is a matter of taste which way you prefer the reflections.
thinking outside the box. well done. If you want to wander down my road I’m home.
a very cool shot. a watercolor and a landscape all rolled into one
It really is disconcerting to look at some things turned upside down.
Great reflection in the second photo.
