Photohunters: Walking

The photohunters theme this week is walking. My feet took me walking out into my garden every day during this last week of April. When my feet took me walking outside on a cold January day, I left behind evidence that I had been walking in the snow. Last November I enjoyed walking around the lake near my house on a regular basis.
When we went to the North Carolina mountains in October, I had to be careful while walking on the rocks. In September last year, when I was walking on the greenway trails near my house, I thought about how the trails lived up to the name greenway.
Last June I enjoyed walking at the beach on the North Carolina coast. I'll end with that shot since that rounds out some of the places I've been walking throughout the state where I live. If you ever want to walk from one end of North Carolina to the other, we have a mountains to sea trail which has 1,000 miles of trails. I don't think I will ever walk one thousand miles but nice to know it's there if I want to.Please visit the home of photohunt to go walking with other participants.

Great sequence of shots.
You are living in a beautiful area.
I would love to walk with you AROUND your lake near your house. I love the reflections on the water. I can only walk along the beach...I wish I could walk around instead...*smile*
Have a great weekend!

Walking is the best exercise even for klutzy people like me .. we walking in Central Park a few years ago and I climbed on this rock to get a better view of The Gates installation and leaned back a bit too far and ended up falling on my back and hitting my head .. I wasnt hurt, I have a hard head, but I was embarrassed because in addition to Husband these tourists and the police on duty all rushed to see if I was okay .. I was .. really .. only thing hurt was my ego

Walking around makes real good exercise. I guess I wouldn't be taking on any more long walks at least for quite some time. Thanks to a leg problem which is why I'm on daily medication right now *bummer*

p/s: Please do help me on SWF is it's convenient :) Thanks in advance!
