Weekend Snapshot: Number Six

Eyeballing storefront displays is my version of weekend window shopping. The first photograph is a collage of storefront shots with the October sky on top. I am not in the market for camping or kayaking supplies but I always enjoy looking at what's in front of the provision's shop. I intended to take a photo of the books that are in front of the bookstore, as they are one of my favorite storefront displays. That's why I had my camera with me. Unfortunately, the bookstore didn't have the shelves outside. Maybe I was too early as they wheel them in at night and back out in the morning.
The second picture isn't great as I was taking it at a stop light while I was driving. I don't take photographs when the car is moving, but even when I'm stopped at a light I have to be pretty quick about it. For some reason the, Look Mom Pumpkins sign, made me laugh. If you click inside the photo for an enlargement you can see the two men chatting. They waved at me after I shot the picture and I realized they may have thought I was taking their picture.

Wow! I am impressed, I can't take good pictures while I am in the car. You did a good shot too in the pumpkin. Pumpkins are everywhere nowadays.

Lovely blue sky up there!

Have a nice week Carver.

got a chuckle out of the guys waving... i was in berkley shooting photos yesterday and my daughter was so embarrassed as i took photos of windows and looking so touristy. I was thinking of getting a press clip on kind of badge so people would want me to take their photos ;-)

Theresa, you're right I do have the camera bug bad. It makes me laugh too.

I appreciate the treat Heart of Rachel.

For Guess who, yes you,
and I won't say boo,
a silly pumpkin I be,
I wished I could grow in a tree.
not on an old wimpy vine,
and I don't even get to be wine.

oh well, I don't have the rhyming gift but I can be silly. You continue to blow me away with the quotes you find K, I mean guess who.
