Photohunt: Smelly

The photohunt theme this week is smelly. I got the idea for this photohunt picture when I was digging underneath a largely inactive compost heap. The sweetest, most pleasant smell wafted up to my nostril for sheer delight of the senses. I couldn't figure out where the scent was coming from. Lo and behold, I realized that my shovel had caught on a mint leaf.
That's why I thought a photo of my bathroom with dried lavender by the sink as well as the herbal soaps and herbal hair gook I use would be appropriate for smelly. The unpleasant smells which occasionally occur in a bathroom are best taken care of by good ventilation. I'm glad to have windows and ventilating fans in my bathrooms.

I love the way you can always weave a tale through a Photo Hunt theme...I look forward to it every week. You take smelly and form a minty aroma with a hint of the fragrance of lavender.
Ah, the scent of words!

Oh that must have been nice. When I was digging in the weeds/yard last summer, I kept smelling wild onions. It was pretty nice.

Thanks again to the the photo hunters for visiting and the Hootin' Anni for the treat.

Expat Traveler, Time, hmmmmm, well here goes, serious answer. First and foremost, photo memes are a great excuse not to clean my house. I start browsing, I read fast, I type fast, but oh so many blogs and oh so little time so something has to give and housecleaning gets push way down on the list. I LOVE that.

I used to spend a lot of my spare time doing active activities that I can't do anymore due to physical issues. I could do more than I've been doing lately so while the weather is better, I probably need to spend less time on the photo memes and more time outside. I am actually not visiting as many as I did at first. Next weekend if I participate at all it will be an early post and visiting a few late because I won't be at my computer over the weekend. Wooohoooo. As a matter of fact I have a few weekends like that coming up. Woooohoooo, chasing the autumn leaves and a different surrounding.

Have a good one and by the way. If someone asks me a rhetorical question they often get a literal answer. I'm irritating like that.
