Today's Flowers: home, cemetery, museum park
This bee was getting covered by the pollen in the rose of sharon (Hibiscus syriacus) in my yard.
The plant below which is flowering in my yard is a mystery to me. I feel like I should know what it is but I don't.
Fairy aster is coming up everywhere in my back yard.
One of my sisters was visiting me this weekend and we took some of the fairy aster and shells to the cemetery where our parents' remains are.
I never go there unless it's with another family member so it has been quite awhile.
The rest of the flowers were ones I photographed when we were visiting the NC Art Museum and the park there.
It was raining off and on so the flowers were beaten down but I still think they are pretty.
I like the different colors of the grasses in with the flowers.

Bonjour Carver!
They are all beautiful pictures and flowers and my favorite is the first one, the close up Hibiscus is amazing. The white is so delicate and the core color is a great contrast!
Have a nice week ahead,
hugs

Gorgeous blooms!
My share flowers, have a nice week ahead.
Lovely!
I really like the rocks and flowers together.
When my kids were young (through high school age) they had classmates with the surname Sapp. At the time we lived in Chesapeake, Virginia.
your photos are wonderful. the hibiscus is amazingly beautiful.
I didn't know rose of sharon was hibiscus family. They are very invasive in my yard.
I love the grasses in the last picture. Your wild and tame flowers still look quite beautiful. "Ours" (the ones I look at) here in Oregon are getting a little shopworn.
Lovely flowers, Carver. I really like the red ones in your last photo. Do you know what they are?
