Photohunters: Drink
This was an easy one for me since there are so many party animals that like to drink on my deck.
Harold the Squirrel is having a drink above and Carol the Chickadee is having a drink below.
Clarissa the Cat (belongs to a neighbor and I don't know her real name) is having a drink below.
For the record the cat wasn't snacking on the birds but I told her to go home anyway. She made it as far as my garden where she stopped to see if I'd go away so she could return to drinking on my deck.
When the coast was clear the love doves flew onto my deck for a drink.
Ralph the Rabbit hopped on my deck to join the drinking party.
Hester the goldfinch arrived looking for a hot toddy last winter but had to wait for me to add the hot water.
Boris and Olivia the blue birds arrived for a drink last winter.
Wolfgang the Wren didn't even wait for me to thaw the big pots of winter drinks but dove in for the water that sloshed out while I was doing the big thaw one morning last winter.

looks like your deck is a favourite spot to hang out. the animals sure know how to liven up the atmosphere.
Oh you sure do know how to throw a cocktail party in your deck Carver. You get a lot of guests. One I think is pissed when you said she'd had enough to drink. Love this post.
Awesome post. Maybe you should write a children's book about the action at your busy bird bath! Even a rabbit stopped by, that's very cool.

Wow your decking is definitely a place to be seen if you are a bird or wild mammal. Best to keep Clarissa away though!
