Photohunters: Looking down

Link
Bill knew that I wanted to photograph trains while we were in the WV mountains but I didn't know what he was talking about when we were looking down and he said, Carver a train is coming.

Finally I zoomed in and spotted not one but two trains but I was too late to get the first cars of either one.

Later we drove beside trains and their tracks and I got better shots but I'm glad I got some from looking down.

On a hike at a different part of the forest on a trail called the endless wall I saw more trains by looking down.

Once again when we were looking down Bill said, look Carver a train.

I didn't see a train when I first zoomed in. I zoomed back out still looking down but no train.

Knowing that Bill's trustworthy, I tried again and voila, a train.

oh my God!

let me say one thing about myself:
The first time I visited USA it was in 1998 and...putz...
I cried when I saw...these mountains...I have hundreds of photos, Carver...I had an analogic camera and I spent 35 Kodak Films..I never imagined in all my life that I could see again...

thanks, dearest..

I love WV. This part in the world gives me very good remembrances...

If there is a place in USa that I would like to visit again...it is WV
have a nice day

I've heard that West Virginia is beautiful state and you just prove it.
My father worked on railroads for years and I don't think he every took any picture.

Coffee is on and have a peaceful memorial day.

I understand that these mountains along with those in western PA, VA, and NC are much older than the Rockies and were at one time, much higher than the Rockies as well. Great shots!
My looking down is here. Have a great weekend!

West Virginia is awesome,........ so in Tennessee. I'm from the north, but love the south much better. Recently moved to Tennessee, and I have more photos from here than the north. Great photos!
