Photohunters: Juicy

In the summer my garden is filled with juicy treats for the birds and squirrels.

I've never tried a mulberry so they get all they want from the mulberry tree.

The blackberries are another story and I pick them as they ripen although there are plenty for the birds too.

The blackberry below is so ripe the juice probably got on my fingers when I picked it.

This time of year the juicy treats are gone but the birds have all the seeds from flowers I've left as they went to seed. Click for the home of photohunters.

Great collection for the juicy theme. I've never tried mulberries either. I thought they were a sour berry.

Happy photo hunting, and weekend! :)

Perfect for the theme, Carver!! I haven't tried mulberries either, and we have two trees in our garden.

there is a park where I walk during the summertime where there are bushes and bushes of blackberries. you see regular walkers walk in with tupperwares in their hand and about a mile uphill you are rewarded with juicy blackberries to eat and take home too.

This reminds me a lot of that wonderful summer activity.

Mullberry trees make me suffer during the allergy season. I can't imagine what eating the juicy berries would do to me--I think I'll leave them for the birds as well

Great shots for this theme, Carver. Mulberries are healthy and delicious. Unfortunately did my mulberry tree die last spring - "someone" had eaten the roots.
I wish you a happy weekend!

Wow, fancy having these juicy fruits in your garden. I've not tried any of these fruits, only the packaged drinks.

Very nice set of photos. Mulberries are actually quite nice to eat and make very good jelly and wine. There's a reason all those birds love them!

Lucky birds! Mulberries are tasty but they make such a mess . . . on many different levels. *smile*

Have a great weekend.
