Photohunters: Spotted

The photohunters theme is spotted. The caladium is spotted with a variety of different colors.
Photobucket
The sky is spotted with clouds. I guess looking at it another way, the clouds are spotted with blue sky.
Photobucket
The acuba bush has variegated leaves which are spotted with green and yellow.
Photobucket
Below is another spotted sky. I spot the clouds forming a vertical pattern as opposed to the horizontal pattern in the first sky shot.
Photobucket
The amelopsis vine has spotted leaves. I spot several variations in the design on the leaves.
Photobucket
In the last shot the acuba bush looks like the leaves are spotted with white instead of soft yellow but that's a trick of the light.

For other photohunters, visit the home site where participants post starting Saturday.

Amazing how many 'spots' you found in your surroundings.
That sky is awesome and I like the Caladium a lot because of all the different colours it comes in :)
Have a great weekend!

Hi Carver, these are some gorgeous photos! Love the clouds, and all those spotted leaves of many colors are wonderful.

I'm ready to hunker down for the great snow of 2010 (will be mad if they are wrong about another one!). Have a great weekend!

Beautiful photos Carver... Now I know why my Mum was so crazy over the different colors of caladium. They looked great when put side by side. :)

Me again, yes I lived here for that horrible ice storm. My power was out for 8 days and since I'm on a well, I didn't have water either. It was awful and I never want to experience something like that again! Right now, it sounds like any ice will be south of the Triangle so I hope they are right about that. As long as the power stays on, I don't mind being stuck at home so let's cross our fingers! Have a great weekend.

those plants a re familiar---we have them here, too. i didn't know they can live in cold climates.:p

Thanks to everyone for visiting. The first shot is a plant that only grows as an annual here. I took that shot in the summer. They don't survive the winter so have to be replanted in the spring/summer. The yellow and green leaves are from a bush that does live here year round. The green and white kind of heart shaped leave is a vine that loses it's leaves in the winter where I live.
