Photohunters: Balanced

The photohunters theme is balanced. My first shot is of my deck swing balanced by chains on a snowy day and was taken exactly one year ago. I'm using this old shot because not only is the swing balanced, the snow is balanced on all of the deck furniture.
Photobucket

No snow here yet this January but the recent shot below gives a better view of the way the swing is balanced on chains.

In order to see how balanced the swing normally is, I shifted the link I hung on the hook on one side of the swing to demonstrate the opposite of balanced. Below is an unbalanced swing. I'm a little unbalanced myself some days but lets not go there.

For balanced photohunters, you can check out the home site where participants post their links beginning on Saturday.

I wish my garden wasn´t covered in snow like yours. This winter is the worst I´ve ever experienced here in the south of Sweden.
But I love your first photo!!!
I wish you a happy and snow free weekend!

I used to swing myself to sleep once and caught flu the next day. Haha! Nice one Carver. :)

Lol. You made that all quite complicated for us simple photo hunters Carver. But it made me smile.
Happy weekend to you.

I cannot seem to wrap my brain around this theme. I don't know why I'm finding myself imbalanced about this.

Have a great weekend.

So it's warmer today than a year ago? I can imagine your being happy about that, Carver! :)

My head must be imbalanced, which is maybe why I'm seeing the swing tilting to one side.
But then again, I am in-balanced!!! Life being hectic since the start of the year which is why I ceased PH on my blogspot.
Have a good and balanced weekend :)

Looking at your first photo, it gives me the feeling of being in a freezer. :P

I prefer to have a swing on it in summer.

Your first picture almost makes me cry, it's so beautiful. Also all this winter and snow gave us a kind of blue feeling...I think it's about winter indeed.
And the other pictures are also perfect!
Have a nice weekend dear Carver,

Ugh, sitting on an unbalanced swing! But if the sitter is unbalanced, does the swing feel balanced when it's unbalanced?

Ack, it's too early for metaphysical questionings!!!

I played too. :) Have a great weekend!

Wonderful, as always. Maybe you'll stop by my entry after you've had a chance to eat. :-)

(I always seem to be just behind you on the posts with food.)

Newly fallen snow looks so beautiful. Although if you live in a place that snows all the time, you might already be tired of hearing that :)

Cool idea for the theme this week. I always find snow so fascinating how it seems to balance so evenly on top of everything.

I would love to have a swing like that. We had one as a kid and I remember all the adventures my sister and I would have on it.. No kid would be playing on a swing like that today.. They have video games for all the adventures...I wonder if they will have pleasant video game memories to look back on as adults.. Michelle

I like that you thought of balanced with the snow covering on the patio. I wouldn't have thought of that and I enjoy seeing it that way.

Nothing like swinging in a balanced swing. I always enjoy getting around and seeing the different views of this weeks theme. Yours is cool!
Drop by and check mine here to see more snow.
