Road trips are fun, especially for the passengers. Soaking in all the scenic sights. Pretty tiring for the driver though :P

I smell road trip. I love going on one, not as much after the gas price hike, but nonetheless I still do. This is a fine collage you got here. I didn't know you also do photo hunt.
Hi again, About Shangri-la (the little folk art village I posted) - it's about 30 minutes north of Hillsborough on Hwy. 86. It's actually on Old 86 but if you turn right at the Prospect Hill volunteer fire dept., you are there.
It's a wonderful place!

i love the road shot on the upper right. i enjoy trips most especially when the road is green and filled with plants. it's so refreshing to the eyes.

Beautiful and you got me thinking of a roadtrip I took some years back from Philadelphia down to Beaufort, South Carolina. Largely followed the roads close to shore but on the way back, briefly ventured through the hilly North Carolina interior. These are wonderful parts of the US, to my mind! :)

The funny thing is, if I'm in a car for a reasonable length of time...(and I'm not the driver, naturally), I fall asleep.
Car rides put me to sleep.

Great choices for your collage! Each one of them is so unique and yet they go together beautifully. I will have to learn how to do a collage one day.
What a wonderful collage for the road theme! I have been on the road all day so am late visiting!
Your roads are all lovely, but I especially like the rough country roads. I'm interested in the colours of the road markings on the larger roads. In the UK we have white lines to separate lanes of traffic while the lines at the side of the road in towns are yellow and indicate parking restrictions.
