Photohunt: Bad Hair

The photohunt theme this week is bad hair. I didn't have any good ones for the theme in my digital photography files, at least not of me. I had to resort to using old non digital photographs and the quality isn't great since my scanner isn't working well. The shot below shows how the magic kingdom was too much excitement for my hair. My daughter's hair is a lot more tame. I think the shot is from about 12 years ago. My pony tale is flying straight up behind me.
I'm not sure when the shot below was taken but I'm guessing it was pretty near the end of my father's life which was 1998. I am at the beach with my father and I think you'll be able to make out how I have this frizzy halo effect in spite of having my hair pulled back. I'll look forward to seeing the other bad hair photos. In spite of having notoriously bad hair, I was surprised that I didn't have more shots to choose from. I think I tend to throw away bad hair shots of me and it hardly seemed fair to post the bad hair shots I've kept of other people and then use them on a post like this.

Let it fly in the breeze
And get caught in the trees.
Give a home to the fleas in my hair.
A home for fleas.
A hive for bees.
A nest for birds.
There ain't no words
For the beauty, the splendor, the wonder
Of my...

Hair, hair, hair, hair, hair, hair, hair
Flow it, show it,
Long as God can grow it,
My hair.

Just the same as we have in amusement parks in Norway - getting a bit of bad hair is the whole point isn't it?

Wishing you a great end to your week :-)

It's cool that you got a shot of you in the roller coaster. I would love to see of me & my hair flying in the air too. :)

Those rides always make me look terrified, I should go find ours from last month...I bet my hair looked awful! LOL! I posted a pic of my daughter.

Oh that first shot brings back many memories of the happiest place on earth!

I am the same way -- I feel every day us a bad hair day for me. :-) Or at least there are more bad ones than good ones. But I couldn't find any pictures of myself with bad hair, at least not in the digital ones. Mine does what yours does when it is windy and humid. I love the one on the ride. Now that is a time to let hair blow and not worry about it. :-)

You're braver than I am in more ways than one. I'd never go on a roller coaster - again! lol Looks like you're having fun though! :D
