It was raining all the way to Durham, NC but it stopped long enough for me to wander through the garden before going inside the office.
It was raining again when I left the office.
I was glad I got there early enough for some garden shots.
The plants are enjoying the frequent rainfall.
I love the way this small Japanese Maple looks in the garden.
The magnolia is beginning to have some buds.
I photographed the squirrel when I was visiting at Rex Hospital in Raleigh, NC.
The landscaping around the hospital is very beautiful.
I can't remember a prettier spring.
The brown thrasher was drip drying after a bath at my house.
The rain beaded on my buttefly weed.
The honesuckle is taking over but I love its scent.
Below are some other shots I took at Rex.
Everything is getting so green.
The American Robin was enjoying a bath although I needed to provide more fresh water.
The Virginia Creeper climbed up the brick on my house and kept going to the eaves.
My hydrangea bushes are growing like crazy.

what's the white flower dropping on the ground. I have honeysuckle here, the Chinese use it as a herb.

beautiful gardens and don't they offer us a) exercise b) time out ... our minds just drift away from whatever to the job at hand and we are rewarded with results like these. Lovely series, take care,
