These yellow wildflowers are still growing in the woods near my house.
The rest of the shots are from my yard this week.
The flowers above are fairy asters and the next two shots are lantana.
Our first frost is usually sometime at the end of October so the remaining flowers should be fine for a few weeks here.

Great shots!
Beautiful shots Carver!
I still see some variation of your yellow ones here and the fairy asters. We are expecting frost by Monday so I'm pretty sure the shots I took today will be the last of the season.
Your lantana is lovely!
I love wild flowers which grow inthe wild! Yours are beautiful.
Wonderful photographs, fantastic flowers. I am greeting
Lovely set of flowers dear Carver!

Have a great week ahead!
I had not realized that lantana buds are square!! All of your flowers are beautiful!! Enjoy them while you have them!! We have already had frost...
Those blossoms on the lantana look like little boxes. It's not a flowering plant that I know .. are they really square? All lovely end-of-the-season blooms. I can't believe it's almost time for your first frost. What happened to summer?
Gorgeous shots!

Thanks to everyone for visiting. The buds are square on the lantana but when they open they are like the shot with the soft round edges.
Those square pillowy centers of the lantana are so amazing! Who knew they looked like that when the blossoms were gone!?
