You don't need signs to know that you should be quiet in a library.
If you look closely you may be able to spot some colorful signs in the library below. To the right is an area for children and many libraries have story time and puppet shows for children which is one time it's not quiet in part of the library.

What a great looking library. The days of stern librarians shooshing people seems to have gone. My library is a community meeting place these days and visually as nice as yours. Nice photos.

I used to regularly frequent libraries... but the only time I go now is to view exhibitions in the exhibition galleries! Guess the internet really has changed my world... and not being at college/grad school any more has also changed my routine! ;)
Library sure change I remember what I thought were elder women who were the Librarian. Doing the shhhhh sign (finger by the lip) or pointing at the sign that was posted there.
Even our library has a lot more activity in it now....mine is up and the coffee is on.
How I wish our university library was as bright and inviting as yours. I would've visited it more often :D

You shouldn't need signs, but I'm always surprised at how loose Library rules are now....but I still love them. Yours looks like a great place to hang out.
