Last weekend there were some extra blooms downtown as part of artsplosure.
Local landscapers put out displays of flowers around the sculptures.
It must have been a lot of work for a weekend festival.
As a lover of flowers it was a bonus to see all the blooms.
Back at capitol square the permanent landscape is also looking beautiful with amaryllis blooming.

Beautiful flowers all around.
I would love to visit Raleigh one day. I enjoyed your photos a lot, and loved the flowers.

I love those amaryllis.
My Flowers
Have a blessed Sunday!
Lovely! They cheer up the whole place.
Interesting assortment of beauties. Hydrangeas do beautifully in Oregon (they should still be blooming when we get there)...but amarylis definitely not. Raleigh is obviously a great place to garden.
The first pink one is camellia? I am crazy about them since I found out the oil is very exotic.
Thanks to everyone for visiting. To answer the question I think the pink flower on the Today's Flower logo is a camellia but since I didn't design the logo I'm not sure. If the question mean the first shot of mine, those are hydrangeas.
Beautiful series! I love also hydrangeas.
