Photohunters: Fluffy and Drop

For this week's combo photohunters, I turned to my archives and remembered neighborhood cats who have moved away with their humans.

All of the neighborhood cats who aren't kept inside by their humans, eventually seem to find their way to my yard.

I selected pictures with a fluffy cat on a raised surface ready to drop down and hunt at a minute's notice.

I have finally started keeping my back gate shut so I don't get as many cats in my back yard.

One thing that was annoying, when I had a thriving crop in my garden boxes, was the cats using them for litter boxes. I also don't like the cats terrorizing the birds. Other than that, I have grown fond of some of the cats.

Awww they are all pretty kittys, but I don't blame you for not wanting them in your garden boxes. Happy weekend, and happy photo hunting :)

my backyard is serving as the local feral cat population's litter box :) but they're all so cute and some of them let me pet them so that's fine :)

i have posted my little furry fluffy Buster today for the themes.

Try using the hose..you don't hurt them, they just don't like it..I use a sprayer bottle in the house when I need to...

Cute cats ! the cats in Belgium all run free and have their cat flaps or the owners play doormen ! Fortunately the cats in our street are all spayed and they visit each other, but my cats usually chase them away.

Fabulous post for "fluffy" and "drop"!
When I had cats, I noticed they didn't do as much "damage" in open garden areas as they did in garden boxes. Something about the shape, or the whole box idea...
You've had some lovely feline neighbors, however, and I'm glad you have photos of them. I enjoyed them a lot.

Nice selection of photos -- all those fluffy visitors are definitely ready to drop (or pounce) down! I like cats -- we always had them when the kids were growing up -- but share your concerns about the birds. (Don't have to worry about the planter/litter box issue any more, but I remember that too!

It's illegal for cats to wander around here so we don't often get many wandering about. to be honest our biggets challenge is with neighbourhood kiddies who like to come in and dig through the garden! *smile*

Have a good weekend.
