Lovely shot. I didn't know that was called a tulip tree - I wonder how one differentiates the Japanese ones from the other magnolias.

Thanks for visiting and to answer the question, the Japanese magnolia doesn't look like what I think of as magnolias. Here's a link of them in bloom to show what this tree looks like.

Yes, they do...
I have a beautiful pink Star Magnolia in the garden. This Magnolia blooms very early before the other trees.
