Photohunters: Six

If you don't believe me when I say there are six geese, you can click inside the photograph for an enlargement. If you look carefully, you should be able to see six geese, although only the head of one of the six is showing. I took this photograph in January of 2010 when the lake was frozen.
On Saturday photohunters post at the home of the hunt. The theme for this week is six.

Nice photo - and I can see #6's little head. That frozen pond cools me off on this hot day.

Have a great weekend and keep cool!

Oh I see the sixth one, only it's head, but yeah there are six there.

Good job Carver and happy weekend.

LOL. Great minds think alike, except mine are goslings and I had to give an explanation too.

Happy weekend to you Carver.

Oh, I see that sixth one peeking out of the grass! :-) Great shot!

Happy Weekend.

Teehee... I just came from JMB's blog and felt that there was a note of exasperation in the accompanying comments for her Photo Hunt submission. And now it seems the same with yours. Maybe it's my imagination but it seems that looking for a suitable photo for this week was a bit trying for quite a few of us... ;b

There's something about geese (and chickens) that compels me to photograph them. I'm proud: I saw six in the small version! Is that a dam across the lake?

Carver said...

Thanks to everyone for visiting and to answer the question about the dam, the geese are sitting on the dam which goes across the lake.

great shot! Happy Saturday!

Yep, I see the 6th one. The lake was frozen? It almost looks like a summer shot until I looked closer at the trees.

BTW, I like your new heading photo - the blue is great.
