Photohunters: Garbage

The photohunters theme this week is garbage. Below, there is a brown garbage can to the left of the gazebo in the park.
In the next shot is a green garbage can on the left hand side of the walking path.
Below is a green garbage can to the left of the tree in the park. So that's it for garbage. I couldn't bring myself to share photographs of the garbage which ended up in the park's stream in spite of all the garbage cans the city provides.
On Saturday participants post their links at the home of the photohunt.

So neat and tidy of the garden.

At my place, people use to throw rubbish everywhere. If there is a signboard saying fine $500 if throw rubbish, then under the signboard, there will be a lot of rubbish around that !

Sigh~

Beautiful looking spot. I cannot understand why people pollute nature with their garbage. Right now our parks are over run with garbage. We are in the middle of a garbage strike so the theme was timely for me.

The paths and garden look so clean and tidy! It makes the work of the cleaners easier.

Happy weekend, Carver!

I was also thinking about showing some unique other garbages... But at least you were able to find some, and I'd think here in BC they'd have it safe for bears with a garbage looking like that... :)

Carver, I was having problems with this week's theme. Who likes to look at garbage? You handled it with dignity :)

Come see my interpretation :)

That's a nice, discreet -- and pretty! -- way of featuring garbage!

Great shots of a nice park.
It is sad that garbage ends up not in the can when they are everywhere.

Happy weekend.

I can barely find a piece of trash on the floor of this beautiful place :)

If only people would use them - So many can't be bothered!

These are lovely. So beautiful for the Theme this week. Pity that some chose to ruin it with trash.

I'm always amazed about the amount of rubbish that floats by when I work in a river - it's hard to understand what compels people to not use the bins provided.

Wow! You even made the garbage sounded so environmental green. :P

A garbage can in a glorious setting like this suddenly becomes a beautiful work of art!

O that's beautiful! American temperate woodlands always seem so much more stately and lucious and... etc etc than their British counterparts...

... also American autumnal greens and golds are far more spectacular than ours... for one thing we barely get any SCARLET autumn leaves like I've seen loads of times in pictures of the American "fall"...

Nice shots, Carver! I love the green environment. The garbage bins are just at the right place for places like this. If there's no effort to install bins in appropriate spots, then for sure the place will be full of garbage.

My garbage shot is now up.

Happy weekend!

Hopefully people use them and keep the park neat.

I played too :)

I know what you mean. I walk at a near by state park and the trash people leave on the trails is amazing, and really makes me mad.

Fabulous views, with hardly any garbage in them.

Have a great weekend.

nice, thanks for not posting pics of trash, beautiful park

I really don't get people who can't see to walk a few steps to a trash can, it takes so little effort

i would love a gazebo... of course it wouldn't fit on my porch... so I would need a yard and a gazebo...
always enjoy stopping in and see what you are seeing this week

Bottled water in plastic... use tap water. Milk in plastic... return to reusable glass bottles... I miss the milk man. So much trash.

My construction trash or garbage is up.

I think that it's great the park makes it possible for people to do the right thing. These barrels are hardly noticeable.
