Photohunt: Bridge(s)

The bridge above is located in Duke Gardens in Durham, NC. The bridge below is located in the North Carolina Mountains near Blowing Rock, NC.The bridge below is in the North Carolina Botanical Gardens in Chapel Hill, NC.
The last bridge connects the greenway trails on one side of Raleigh, NC with the trails on the other side which lead to the Art Museum. This road would be dangerous for pedestrians to cross without the bridge which spans the highway.
Snap2Days has the parallel live photohunter post I collaborate in. To find other photohunters bridges please visit the home of the on Saturday.

Oh so the last one is a foot bridge? That's very nice. I thought the theme this week is quite easy and I'm excited to see that others have in store for us.

Carver, this is such a wonderful collection of unique bridges and how cool that they are all in NC. I love those stone bridges up on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Happy weekend!

That is a widely differing set of bridges Carver. I was quite taken aback by the first little one but it qualifies for sure.

Beautiful photos. Sometimes, it's the modest structures that make the more pretty pictures...

All so very wonderful and beautiful. But I really love the little rock bridge and also the little wooden bridge.

I was going to repost my little bridge that crosses over our drain way to our pond.

But, I couldn't find it. Thanks for taking the time to share these beauties with us!!

Love all of your finds. The photos are so beautiful but I find myself feeling so jealous with all of that blue sky. However, I do have to admit since moving to Victoria that the grey skies are very much lacking!

I love that first little bridge, so simple and unobtrusive..

I like the bridges among the greenery. A country feel about them. I like the calm and quiet.

You can never go wrong with bridges: they are fun to cross and naturally photogenic, and also metaphorical!

I just love all the bridges you showed. It would be so much fun to hike along those trails. We have family in NC and have done some trails near them and loved it. Have a great weekend :)

Ahh, your bridges are beaut!

I was too flattened by the heat this week, and by starting a new class in a new school year to even think of a post for this week, so I just did my hot ice cream one. :)

I do so love these bridges. They are all so different, but special in their own way. I suppose if you forced me to make a decision, I would choose the first as a favourite, or maybe the third, or maybe....
