Photohunt: Light
The photohunt theme this week is light. An individual damp leaf is very light.
I prefer raking the light leaves when they are slightly damp because they don't fly off as freely or irritate my sinuses as bad.
The problem is that once you get a whole bunch of light damp leaves raked up, and put in a container to move them where you can chop the leaves for mulch, they are no longer very light.
That's it for my light post which turned into a heavy post at the end.
To find other Saturday photohunters, and to learn about the hunt, you can go to, PhotoHunt. You can also find photohunters at technorati photohunt

WOW! Amazing shots! Happy Weekend too:)
Here's mine for this week!
Yen's Photo Hunt
Happy Holidays!
Dried leaves are so light that they fly all over the place when the wind blows. That is no light work because I would be perspiring heavily after I'm done with sweeping them up!
If I do that often, I might weigh lighter. hehe....
Oh those are great photos for this weeks theme! Amazing one light leaf! Thanks for visiting my hunt early
Beautiful take on the LIGHT theme. Happy hunting.
Great shots! Loved the composition. Have a great weekend.
I love the colors of the fallen leaves. They are so beautiful. Unfortunately, nobody loves racking. haha. Nice shots Carver. Merry X'mas :)
Wow - beautiful photos of the leaves, especially the last one.
Happy Holidays!
Beautiful, Carver, what great take on the theme!!!
Amazing shot. That last shot is downright professional. Kudos!
hi carver~
i like your first picture of the leaf.
Merry Christmas!
That is a very cute post. And I love the pics.
Wow such excellent composition. Great photos Carver. Happy weekend and a very happy Christmas
I agree, a bunch of raked leaves are not light. Fall cleanup is no fun - we have a lot of it 'round my place.
What a fun take on the theme. Made me smile. :)
Happy Holidays!
It definitely wasn't a heavy post, and the pictures are just great. Merry Christmas!
Carver, enjoyed your light -to- heavy post! Ha!
Have a wonderful holiday and all the best to you and your family!
Thanks for visiting me!
Beautiful shots, but I have to say the second shot is my absolute favourite because it completely grabs our attention!
That first photo is AMAZING! I miss picking up leaves (though I whined about it when I had to do it!)
We don't get too much of those here in Southern CAl!
Happy Weekend!
Clever take on the theme...well done!
Wonderful shots and a great interpretation.
The leaves are beautiful and they should be trained to fall into containers in the fall time... hehehe....
thanks for dropping by!
The Rocky Mountain Retreat
Aha! You took the theme on a different direction! I can almost SMELL the leaves! Ours are pretty much covered up under the snow now!
Marry Christmas, Carver!
wow, great shots carver! i love the first one! it is true that they are not a hassle if one rakes them damp.
happy weekend!:)
We still have a bunch to rake up! ugh! Happy hunting...
beautiful. I wouldn't have thought of something like that, light and light. Plus if you think about it, the leaves need the light to give them the colors!
What great photos for this weeks theme. I love the last shot. Have a great weekend and a Happy Holidays.
Great shots and commentary. BTW, you're the first Photo Hunter that I've visited thus far to go for the light as in 'not heavy' take on the theme... :b
Great take on this week's theme! I love how your pictures tell the story of your day.
Haha! That's a funny light-to-heavy post you have here. :D
those are good shots! we just ignored it sometimes but we don't know how beautiful the damp is until you've taken a picture of it..

I really love those photographs. Thanks for taking us on your leaf journey.
I don't miss having a yard at ALL when I see the photos of all those wet leaves!
Maybe if you get a smaller bucket they would remain light :)

I don't envy you for the work fallen leaves mean to you, but I'd love to SEE such leaves again, for a change!

Great take on this week's theme. Love how you transformed them into heavy. Wishing you a Merry Christmas.

Oh! I always utilize the dried leaves as nutrients to my trees. I don't throw them away. hehe...
Merry Christmas, Carver!
Beautiful leaves. Prayers could take flight on them. And that's an image I cherish right now. Thanks for the photos.

I do agree that dried leaves are light. I dislike sweeping them because when the wind blows, I need to sweep them again. Haha.. Anyway, thanks for leaving a great comment in my post. See you around. Merry Christmas!
