The shot above is of my nandina berries in my back garden. The shot below is a macro of one of my low dogwood tree branches. Both shots taken Saturday. To visit other participants - Home of Weekend Snapshot
Love dogwood trees when they are in bloom. My dad being a wood shop teacher would always try to teach us the different type of trees when we would go on a walk. The dogwood was my favorite, not only because it was the only one I could always recognize, but loved the flowers on it.
G'day, I think your duck is our black duck, and the bird looks like a double of our honey eater.
I've been interstate, took my Mum for some family stuff, then back home and into harvest. Is all over now thank goodness, sleep is helpful. :)
Beautiful photos, I have developed an addiction for blueberry jam, blueberry muffins and blueberry pies... Plus there has been more of blueberries getting into fruit stores, prices coming down from $20 per serve etc..(where we are anyway). They are only 4 to five bucks now.
Summer has started here, was a mild, cool spring, but today is absolutely beautiful and sunny, about 30c.
Hi Carver Lovely shots as always. I always love the red berries against the green... I am exhausted. This horse show took everything out of me... I have soo much to catch up on. Thanks for doing snap2days.. I haven't even had time to check!
